Cleveland Bicycle Station Drawings

Bike Station Drawing

The City of Cleveland's Division of Architecture has released a new set of drawings for the proposed Bicycle Station.

Whether or not you were able to join us yesterday at the location of the future station to learn about the plans, you might like to see how they're developing.

The floor plan shows the indoor and outdoor bike parking, locker room, showers, patio, and more. You can't choose your locker yet, but you can take a peek!

Want to be a Star?

One of the TV stations is doing live coverage of Bike to Work tomorrow at public square.  If you're an early riser (and we mean VERY early!) you can be a star by getting there between 5:30 and 6:00 am.  They might be there until 7:00, but they might move to another location.  Look for the RTA bus and lights, camera, and action.

This is your chance to say "Hi mom!"  on TV!

Important info about free bus/train rides on RTA

You know that cyclists ride free on the RTA on Friday, right?

Here are some details on how to take your bicycle on the various vehicles.

Please note that each regular bus has two racks, and that bikes won't be able to be taken on buses. Be sure that the bus driver knows you're in front of the bus when putting your bike on the rack, and that you tell him/her when you're getting off the bus that you need to get your bike.

What if it Rains Friday, May 15th?

What's that saying in Cleveland? If you don't like the weather, just wait a minute?

If it's pouring cats and dogs on Bike to Work Day, Friday, May 15th, the rain date for the ride is the following Friday: May 22nd.

A little rain won't stop us, though! If you're in doubt Friday morning, check out the website: we will post by 6:30am if Bike to Work Day is postponed.

Please do your "No Rain on Friday" dance every day, starting today!

Showers at the Club at Key Center

The Club at Key Center is offering showers and a place to change for free for 20 people on May 15th. The Club is located at 127 Public Square and the entrance is on St. Clair. They are taking reservations, so if you'd like to use their facilities, call them at 241-1272, x. 222.
