Ohio City Bicycle Co-op helmet, lock and lights offer

For Cleveland Bike Week 2009, OCBC is introducing a special deal on inexpensive, new helmets, locks and lights: while anyone has always been able to use co-op volunteering credits to pay for any used parts, we have not been able to do that for new stuff.  But we want everyone to use their bikes as much as possible, and you can't do that (for very long, anyway) without a lock, or lights if you ride at night. Wearing a helmet is also helpful to keep cyclists out of the emergency room, and using their bikes.

So we now offer selected new locks, lights, and helmets for purchase (they're all the cheapest, good-quality ones we could find), or earnable with volunteer credits of twice the cash price.

Visit during Bike Week, and get free installation (or helmet fitting) and usage advice. On Mondays, OCBC is open primarily for members' use, but if you need a lock, lights or helmet, come on down!
